Terms of Use
Plain rules for using Mirrela: what the pictures are and are not, what you may upload, and how free generations and plans work. Using the app means you accept them.

What Mirrela actually gives you
You upload a photo, choose what to change, and the app generates an image showing one possible version of that change. The result is made by an AI model. It is an illustration of an idea, not a photograph of a result, and not a prediction of what any salon, colourist, tattoo artist or piercer will produce.
The photos you bring
By uploading a photo you confirm that:
- it is yours to use, or you have permission from whoever owns it;
- every person visible in it has agreed to it being used this way — this applies to the whole frame, not just the main subject;
- no one in it is a child;
- it is not sexual, and it is not being used to depict somebody in a situation they have not agreed to.
You keep every right you had in your photo. You give us only what is needed to do the job: permission to process that image in order to produce the result you asked for. That permission ends when the request does. We do not use your photos to promote the service or to train anything.
Free generations and plans
Everyone starts with two free generations. They are not money, they have no cash value, and they cannot be transferred or exchanged for anything outside the app. Once they are used, generating needs a plan.
A plan is a subscription: once payments are switched on it will renew itself for the same price and period until you cancel, and you will be able to cancel at any time from the plan screen. The prices shown in the app are the real ones. A plan has no cap on how much you generate, within reasonable personal use.
We are not currently charging for anything. The checkout is not built, so a plan cannot be started, nothing renews and there is nothing to refund — pressing subscribe today tells us you would, and does nothing else. Before we take a first payment we will publish separate terms covering price, renewal, cancellation and refunds, including the fourteen-day right to withdraw that applies to consumers in the EU, and nothing here overrides the rights you have at that point.
What you may not do
- Generate images of another person without their agreement, or to harass, impersonate or humiliate anyone.
- Generate sexual content, or anything involving minors.
- Use the app to produce material that is illegal where you are.
- Automate, scrape or resell access, or work around the limits in the app.
We can withdraw access to anyone doing these things, without notice and without owing an explanation to anybody else.
Shops and specialists
Under a result you can tap through to a shop that sells something like the thing in the picture, or go looking for someone who does this work near you. Both are ordinary links to other people's sites.
We do not check those sites, we do not stock or ship anything, and we have no say in a price, a size chart or whether an item exists at all — the link is a search, not an inventory. A studio or salon appearing in a map search is not a recommendation from us: we have not visited it, seen its licences or met the person who would be working on you. Anything you buy or book is a contract between you and them. We currently earn nothing from these links, and if that ever changes we will say so here and on the page itself.
The images you generate
Do what you like with the results — keep them, print them, show them to your hairdresser, post them. We claim nothing over them.
Two things we cannot promise. The images are not unique: the same request from somebody else may produce something very similar, and we are not able to give you exclusivity over a generated picture. And because generated images are not the work of a human author, whether they can be copyrighted at all differs from country to country.
The pictures in our catalogue
The looks you browse before uploading anything are ours. We made every one of them for this catalogue, and the people in them do not exist — the models are generated, so no real person is pictured wearing anything. Save one, send it to a friend, take it to your appointment: that is what they are for.
What they are not for is being passed off as your own work, sold, or republished as the catalogue of another service. Between those two is a wide space, and we will read it in your favour.
Who can use it
You need to be at least 16. If you are under that age, please do not use Mirrela — including with an adult's photo.
Availability
Mirrela is offered as it is. Parts of it will break, models change behaviour without warning, and we may add, alter or remove features — including whole categories — at any time. We do not promise the service will be available, and it depends on providers we do not control.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make after looking at a generated image, for anything a professional does to you afterwards, for images or wardrobe items lost when browser data is cleared, or for indirect losses of any kind.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under consumer protection law that applies to you regardless of what a contract says.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top says when we last did. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it.
These terms are governed by the law of [England and Wales], and its courts have jurisdiction — except where you live somewhere whose consumer rules give you the right to your own courts and your own law, in which case those apply.
